Over and over again
I want a source of news that has absolutely no mention of Paris Hilton or the iPhone.

Isnt' it sad the Paris Hilton is "news" it sickens me to see her plastered all over CNN. If I was watching E I would expect it, but our country has mixed news with entertainment and I think it's sad.

"news" comes at us from so many angles these days, you can be fairly oblivious to the world and still be somewhat informed. That's what I do. If I see her face, or the iPhone, or Chris Benoit stories, or whatever craptasic blend of consumerism, pop culture, and bile the networks decide to run, I change the channel or scroll down. It's not that hard. It helps if you pick your toes whilst watching.

Man, I hate it when the Rockies lose! 7 straight. And every one has been more painful than the last. Ahhh, the drama.
Yesterday we had carpet installed and they installed the wrong stuff. The carpet that is in there was supposed to go to a mansion in Boulder...$9/square foot, where as the carpet we ordered was $2/square foot. Stores mix up, our benefit. This is the softest carpet I've ever felt in my life.
So in summary, life was great after we swept the Yankees. Then the Rox went on the road and life is still great, but they lose.
(the following update did not contain one mention of the overrated and cheaply made iPhone or the overrated and cheap Paris Hilton...until now, but that doesn't count!)

For those of us who are stuck in the back woods of northern Michigan and work WAY WAY too much and never get to see the news...
What happened to Paris Hilton? and "I" have a phone, it dosn't work verry well around her but "I" ave a phone

Jeff and Emily's carpet is very nice, I stopped by after it was installed. Funky little pattern in it but definitely the softest I have ever walked on... Like Rich "I" also have a "phone" that does not work in the mountains, so don't call me on the weekends, otherwise it is totally cool to interrupt me from work to talk...

just to see how much further this caziness on iPhone gets--- Read somewhere that some people spent the big bucks for these things and then broke them open to find the manufacturers of some of the key components so that they could buy stock in them.

They broke them open as well to figure out what parts in it to figure out the margins Apple has on the iphone....I read somewhere that it costs Apple a bit over $200 to make the $600 phone, nice margins I'd say.

but if apple builds the phone for 200 dollars in their Chinese sweat shops with their tinny little finger. they then sell the phone to Cingular now att. so who is adding the higher markup Apple or ATT?????????????????
If a Nokia phone can be sold for $10.00, and black berry can be sold for $199, the IPhone cant be that much mor than a blackberry so i have a hard time believing apple pays $200 per phone to build. its all a little fishey to me....
plus they dont work for crap I hear
