My turn to gloat...
Here is an email to my boss/publisher concerning some issues we're having with someone in the company:
I only have on specific occurrence since I don't work directly with her - When she told an advertiser to call Debbie Hume directly for Belly Band information. But I do remember a lot of issues going on around the time that *** was doing the Calendar for FC, although I cannot remember details.
General Issues:
•She needs to be "in tune" with our schedule and how her changes effect production, which in turns effects editorial, and so on.
•Needs to take responsibility for mistakes, she will find others to point fingers at.
•Needs to communicate with us better.
*Her errors don't just effect *** or ***, they effect the whole team/company and the production of getting pubs out the door.
Matt, You are the innovator to this company. I know you are in charge of the sales managers, but your time should not be spent holding your employees hands. You have surrounded yourself with talented, capable people who can along with your visions take this company to new levels. Issues like these only hold GAP back. Please remember, we look to you as our leader and when your time, as well as our own, becomes hung up on such issues, we lose focus.
Thank you for hearing our concerns!
Abbey
And his response:
Abbey,
Thank you for your comments and encouragement. You are great at keeping me focused - and I need that! Where did all your wisdom come from lately? Have you been holding back for 2 years, because your maturity and outlook is blowing me away lately.
Thanks!!
Matt
I am posting this to point out that my balls are continuously growing – this I am very proud of!
