Abbey and were fortunate enough to accompany Grant last night to see The Who as Van Andel arena. I've enjoyed The Who for awhile now but haven't had the opportunity to see them live, usually because tickets are $150 each, a little rich for my blood. But as a result of Grants sweet job we got to attend.

Granted we only got to see 1/2 of the actual band, but Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey showed that they still know how to put on a great show. I think Daltrey has been taking advantage of some vocal training because he sounded great and was able to hit a fair amount of those high notes, and Townshend was as lively and windmilling as usual.

The stage show was good with some neat high-def screens moving around in the background with creative materials flashing away to the music and the lights were nicely done....not detracting from the performance.

All in all it was a great show.
