Well Friday was a good day, I came home from work for lunch to find the excavator arriving to take away all the dirt they had dug out for a new house going in just around the corner from us. So since Abbey has been saying we need to get a hold of these people I went over and chatted with the guy to see if we could score some of the dirt before they hauled it away. And sure enough he said there would be no problem, he would just fill up his dump truck and then just dump it in our back yard, and that the guy with the spreader would be by later to spread it out, all for free! When I came home at the end of the day out backyard had a whole new look to it, all graded and starting to become a bit more level, as opposed to the drop off that we have kind of come accustom to.

Monday or Tuesday our landscaper is going to be coming out with even more fill dirt to level off the backyard a bit more, and then they are going to do topsoil throughout to finish it off. Then we get to spend the next week prepping and planning grass seed. Who’s going to have a law?? Oh, we are!
