Arizona
Our trip to AZ was wonderful- I finally got to meet more of the fowler family, and of course they were all so very nice and great to be around. We spent Friday night at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Simon’s beautiful house. Saturday we awoke and made FRESH orange juice from the orange tree! Mac and I visited a new climbing gym in the area and learned a little more about the business. For lunch, Simon showed us how to make a great Mexican dish. Mac and I headed to Payson, and were there in time to eat dinner with Grandma Fowler- she made us corned beef and cabbage. The next day we met up with Kathy, Simon, Grandma Fowler, and Mac’s cousin Leah along with her husband and their son for lunch at Grandma’s usual Chinese restaurant. We hung out with everyone for a little while and then headed back to NV. Before we left, we got to see Kathy and Simon’s house in Payson that they are still trying to sell – it was amazing! (if only Mac and I had the money?)
The drive was beautiful, both through the desert on the way there, and through the mountains on the way home. Great place to retire to!
There are photos in the gallery. The may issue of Nevada Family Magazine will have an article about Potty Training- and since Alex is at that perfect age, I was able to use him as a model (with mom’s permission of course) – This is the reason for the photos of Alex playing with the toilet.
